Siobhán is a very familiar face at cavat having been a student with us from the age of 6-18 and after settling in to full time Cavat Teacher and Manager she has now taking over as school Principal after Cavat changing hands in 2023.
While a student at Cavat she trained in dance and theatre studies at The Brit School of Performing Arts and Technology and continued on to The Centre Performing Arts College where she learnt from prestigious istd examiners, gaining her ISTD qualifications and worked with industry professionals such as Carrie-Ann Ingrouille (resident choreographer of Hamilton) and Robert Scott (MD of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Oliver).
She then went from assisting to teaching for Cavat full time along side her performing opportunities and is now Cavat Manager.
Siobhán knew from a young age that she wanted to be a dance teacher and run her own school one day and went to performing arts college with a focus on gaining her qualifications. She wanted to gain some performing experience before teaching students to enter the industry and has performed in a mix of tv and stage work including, Dancer in the 2012 Olympic Opening Ceremony, ‘Texas’ in ‘Cabaret’ at the Bloomsbury Theatre, Lead Role ‘Claire’ in Short Film ‘Flesh and Bone’, as well as background appearances in an 02 advert, Marshall’s Headphones Advert and TV Series ‘The Royals’.
Her most recent credits include “Romeo 4 Juliet The Musical” tour in Italy and playing the role of “Tropicana Blonde” in Sky Arts production of “Andy and The Donald” in the series “Urban Myths”.
